Redesign Black Panther

I haven’t forgotten about these, I’m just super busy. Glad somebody suggested black panther, tried to incorporate the panther face into his chest more than anything else.

Redesign Poison Ivy

POISON IVY.

I had no idea how to redesign her, and somebody jokingly “draw her naked”, so I sort of did that. Obvious influence from Eve with the random genital leaf.  I did a bunch of sketches before I landed on this, most of them sucked. I like this one okay but this was still a tough one to design.

Redesign Eva Unit 01

EVANGELION UNIT 01.

Got asked to redesign this one and I wondered “how does somebody redesign this?? It’s already as stylized and futuristic as a mech can get, how do I take it further?” Then I realized, instead of taking it further, take it back and do it oldschool.  So I went the route of an oldschool giant robo anime influence.

Redesign Captain America

CAPTAIN AMERICA.

I know I’ve been slackin on redesigns lately but that’s because I’ve been busy and preparing for Avengers. Well in honor of Avengers here’s a few looks of Captain America (couldn’t decide which one I liked best). I never really liked the wings on his head but I figured painting them on the side has been done too much so I added them on like metal protrusions from a helmet? I dunno, they cover his ears and could be where his earbud/microphones are hidden.

Redesign Shazam

SHAZAM.

That’s what he’s called now, there’s too many Captain Marvels. Anyway I couldn’t decide if I wanted to go with a more superhero look or a greek warrior influenced look so I did both.  I kinda rushed them though, so they’re not exactly how I wanted but whatevs. Another redesign down.
